The Twist-A-Throttle Story

Our family has decades of experience in lawn equipment sales, service, repair, commercial mowing, and landscaping.

With this long history of service and repair, David saw a need for a better way to operate the throttle on string trimmers.

With constant replacements of broken plastic triggers on string trimmers coming in the shop, and sore wrists from awkwardly holding the trimmer up for edging, David saw the need for a better more comfortable throttle control system.

With years of hands-on experience in operation and repairs, he knew there had to be a better way...

   ...and thus, the Twist-A-Throttle came into existence to solve those problems.

Turns out, it also made the trimmer a whole lot more comfortable to operate.

After the initial designs and testing, with lots of oohs, ahhs, and kudos from commercial mowing crews it was time to patent and begin manufacturing retrofit kits on a mass scale.

Today the Twist-A-Throttles are assembled, packaged, and shipped from our same family-owned equipment dealership in Oologah, Oklahoma where they were first designed.
